Honey and Tuscan biscuits

The Honey

The honeys are from the hills of the Florentine Chianti area. Only unrefined Tuscan honey from an uncontaminated area is used. Excellent as sweeteners or desserts the various honeys also go with different types of cheeses;  Mielciola for example is excellent with mature pecorino but also with caciocavallo  and other hard cheeses

Tuscan Biscuits

The cantuccino is the most famous Tuscan biscuit, renowned for the way it’s eaten, soaked in Vin Santo. It’s a simple, rustic dessert which has its origins in the countryside where farmers had everything available to make it themselves, in fact all that’s needed is eggs, flour, sugar and almonds and there was always a plentiful supply of Vin Santo. The Lucrezie  are soft and delicious  clouds of  almond paste containing candied citrus fruits

Cantuccini  300g

Lucrezie  250g

10 transparent rigid bags with striped cardboard cone around the bag

The biscuits are also available in boxes of 5 kg or more for restaurants, wine cellars and wine bars
We recommend  eating the cantucci with Tuscan Vin Santo and the Lucrezie with late harvest wines and sweet raisin wine
